WHO WE ARE  Przetlumacz na polski 

Andrzej Lubieniecki

Andrzej, born in Wroclaw, a member of a junior 1st league netball team (Gwardia Wroclaw), studied law at University of Wroclaw. He arrived to Australia in 1986. His experience in radio journalism dates back to 1993, when he launched a Sydney community program RadioSiedem, hosting the program until recently for many years. He produced few reportages for the Polish Television, and currently is the Australian correspondent for Informacyjna Agencja Radiowa.

ANNA SADURSKA

Anna leads the team in Sydney. She joined SBS in 1994 bringing with her more than ten years of experience in journalism. In Poland, Anna worked for the daily newspaper, Gazeta Krakowska and the weekly, Przekroj, in Cracow.

Anna came to Australia in 1987and she's a graduate of the Yagiellonian University in Cracow.


DARIUSZ BUCHOWIECKI

Dariusz has been in Australia since 1992 and lately joined SBS (2004).
In Poland he graduated from College of Dramatic Arts in Wroclaw (PWST Wroclaw)
and as a professional actor participated in many productions (theatre, film, TV, radio).
He is also a graduate of RMIT University - Diploma in Video Production.
His special interest is in Arts and he loves Jazz.

Dorota Banasiak

Dorota joined SBS in 1998. With her prior broadcasting experience from community radio she started her work at SBS with a group of polish teanagers producing a local youth program.

Dorota, born in Wroclaw, arrived to Australia in 1982, where she graduated from University of Technology Sydney, and later, with a postgraduate degree, from University of NSW.

Being trained as a vocalist and a guitarist her special interest and passion is music.

EWA FIGIEL

Ewa, born in Warsaw, joined SBS in Melbourne in 1990. Prior to leaving Poland, she worked as a producer for the Polish Broadcasting Commission in the Department of Music Recording. She is also a graduate of the Television and Film Production School in Warsaw.

Ewa enjoys working at SBS Radio because she believes the organisation bridges Australia's diverse cultures. Her special interest is music.


HALINA ZANDLER

Halina has led the team in Melbourne since 1984. She joined SBS in 1980 after migrating from Gdansk in 1979.

Halina is a graduate of the Gdansk Polytechnic, Faculty of Building and Architecture and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. Halina is a co-founder of the Australian Institute of Polish Affairs.

JOANNA TODISCO

Joanna arrived in Australia from Warsaw in 1987 and joined the program in Melbourne in 1989.

Prior to her arrival in Australia, Joanna graduated from Poland's College of Theatrical Arts in Warsaw (PWST Wiedza o Teatrze). Joanna, married to an Italian-Australian, enjoys Australia's multicultural society.

Magda Dejneka

Magda came to Australia in 2000 and joined the SBS team one year later. In Poland she graduated from Theatre Academy in Warsaw (Akademia Teatralna w Warszawie, Wiedza o Teatrze) and from University in Lublin (Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Sklodowskiej, Filologia Polska).

She values working at SBS because it helps to maintain strong links with her native Poland, as well as exploring her new home Australia.
