PHALINE TUY

Phaline joined SBS in Sydney in 1983 after migrating to Australia in 1976.

Born in Phnom Penh, she has extensive experience in radio as well as banking through her work with the Agricultural Bank in Cambodia.




SABOUPHARY TUY

Sabouphary leads the team in Sydney and brings more than 15 years of radio experience to the program. He migrated to Australia in 1973 to pursue his post-graduate study under a Colombo Plan scholarship. He joined SBS in 1983.

He's a graduate in Business Management and holds a Master of Economics from the University of New England at Armidale in New South Wales.





TAK MENG HEANG

Heang started at SBS Radio in Melbourne in 2005. His first job as an interpreter had given him a clear idea of what is needed for the Cambodian community in Australia. He believes that Australia is the land of opportunity.

Heang is a current legal practitioner and a registered migration agent. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and Communication) and Bachelor of Laws, a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice from the Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He is also a Naati Accredited level 3 translator in Khmer and English.

Heang was born in Cambodia and migrated to Australia with his family in 1996 under Special Humanitarian Program. He enjoys partaking in charity and cultural activities. Heang has been a wellknown Master of Ceremony and event host in Australian Cambodian community since 2002s.
