WHO WE ARE  ¤¤¤å½Ķ 

(EP) LEE, FRANCIS

Francis is Executive Producer in Sydney. He joined SBS Radio in 1983 as a freelance contributor while pursuing an engineering career. Francis is a fully qualified translator and interpreter and has also written several bilingual books in Chinese and English, including (English Idioms - a cultural fascination) and (English Idioms - under the lucky stars)

(EP) LEUNG, DORIS

Doris is Executive Producer in Melbourne. She joined SBS in the mid-1980s. She's a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has a long career in public broadcasting, including a posting with the Chinese Service at Radio Australia.
Doris has also worked with the Department of Immigration as part of the Australian government's post-arrival service to new migrants. In 1998 she received the St Michael's Medallion for Service Through Radio to Migrant Education.



CHING, KA CHEUNG

KC joined SBS in February 1996, soon after he migrated to Australia from Hong Kong. He is a qualified journalist, beginning his media career in 1980. In Hong Kong, KC worked in newspapers and also hosted a daily finance show on radio. KC's prime interest is finance but he maintains a strong interest in all news and current affairs.



SUNG, THOMAS

Thomas is a senior journalist & broadcaster at SBS. He graduated from Concordia University in Canada, majoring in philosophy and sociology and in Australia from Deakin University, majoring in translation and interpreting. Thomas has worked as an English teacher and examination supervisor in Hong Kong and as an interpreter in Australia. He joined SBS in March 1995.



TSANG, ELSA

Elsa completed her media studies, specialising in broadcasting, in 1984. While living in Hong Kong she worked for commercial radio as a reporter, as a producer with Radio Television Hong Kong and as a sub-editor for Oriental Daily. Elsa joined SBS in 1992. She frequently produces and presents news but has particular interest in family education, youth and child psychology, as well as Chinese culture.

WAN, AARON

Aaron is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he majored in journalism and communications. He also has a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne. Aaron has also worked as an editor and in public relations in Hong Kong. He joined SBS in November 1995.
