TERRELL OUNG

Terrell was born in Mandalay and migrated to Australia, via Singapore, in 1977.

He worked as a telecommunications technician before helping to establish a Burmese language program on community radio in Sydney. Terrell joined SBS in 1993 and set up the Burmese Language Program here. He's an active community worker.
