Our Tongan correspondent reports homeland news and current affairs, while we also include community news and events from the capital cities around Australia. Interviews with Tongans in Australia or people living in Tonga are an important element of the program. Topics covered range from settlement programs for new migrants to interviews with politicians.

Music, both traditional and modern, is a feature of the program and performances by local artists are always popular.

Meliame Tauali'i-Fifita is always on stand by to assist with the program when Laota Latu is broadcasting from other areas or when she is not available.
