The Socceroos came back from losing 1-0 to beat Oman 2-1 despite losing a player, in the Asian Cup qualifier. Alex Brosque, Sydney FC player, is the latest to be called to the Socceroos and played in that match.

World Master Games in Sydney: 22.10.2009
Sydney was the host of the "World Masters Games" which brought together some 29 thousand athletes of all ages, from ninety-five countries.

During the nine-day event, participants competed in 28 sports and were separated by age and gender.

It is noteworthy that among the athletes who came to participate, a 98 years old man has generated a source of inspiration for the younger generation.

Surfing with Sofia Mulanovich: 2.10.2009
Interview with Peruvian surfer Sofia Mulanovich, 2004 world champion and vice-champion in the years 2005 and 2007. Sofia, of Croatian heritage, was born in Lima Peru and fell in love with the aqua-sports when she started swimming at the age of 5 and then surfing at the age of 9.

In 2007 Sofia entered the ‘Hall of Fame’ of professional surfing with two documentaries about her life and thousands of fans around the World.
