The World Masters Games: 16.10.2009
The World Masters Games, governed by the International Masters Games Association, are the world's largest participatory multi-sport event. The world Masters games are held in Sydney from 10-18 October 2009. There are two Serbian participants (kayak): Miroslav Rodic who will compete during this weekend and Sasa Vujanic who has already won two golds.

Karadjordje Cup, Serbian Soccer Tournament: 30.9.2009
The Karadjordje Cup is a soccer tournament held each year in October with a different Australian city as the host. The Tournament is organized by the local Serbian Community. The competing clubs have their roots within the Serbian Community but the players that participate reflect the Multicultural society that is Australia. This year 13 teams will compete and hosted by Serbian Sports Club Kraina in Melbourne told us Kraina president Slobodan Dakic.

But I don't know that anyone can wear the title of "best ever." I mean, [Andre] Agassi and [Pete] Sampras played some unbelievable matches. The most you can say is, "I was the best in my era." Tennis - Roof debate : 18.2.2009
Serena Williams was cooked when Svetlana Kuznetsova was fried by the decision to close the Rod Laver Arena roof because of the extreme heat.
There was no official reading of the temperature on centre court but it was estimated to be close to 60 degrees.

Interview: Damir Dokic: 18.2.2009
Jelena Dokic has won harts of Australian public in Melburn Park once more. She spoke of her battle with depression and the anguish of splitting with her family after a winning return to the Australian Open.
The Serbian-Australian split with her controversial father in 2003 and her life spiralled out of control.
Damir Dokic's most notable outbursts included claiming the organisers had rigged the draw against his daughter when she was pitted against then-defending champion Lindsay Davenport at the 2001 Australian Open. An exclusive interview with Damir Dokić last night has got SBS’s Andrej Bucko.
