FORGOTTEN MALTESE - The Cilia story: 16.11.2009
Kevin Rudd has made an emotional apology to half a million people who faced abuse and neglect in Australian institutions between 1930 and 1970 - and child migrants. 310 Maltese children were sent to Australia between 1950 and 1965 - among them the Cilias - three brothers and three sisters.... this is their story.... a story of physical and sexual abuse... a lifetime of trauma. Dying Rights: 5.10.2009
