Zuroff, the last Nazi-hunter: 30.10.2009
The 88-year-old Perth-based Charles Zentai has spent four years fighting against an extradition order to Hungary, where he is wanted to face charges of murdering a Jewish teenager in 1944. The director of Jersualem's Simon Wiesenthal Center, Ephraim Zuroff, has led the campaign against Zentai, whom he accuses of trying to elude justice. Zuroff, labelled by the media as the ‘last Nazi-hunter’, spoke to Max Civili about his career and the Zentai case.

Messina floods: death toll finally rises to 35: 8.10.2009
The death toll from last week's flooding and landslides in Messina, Sicily, reached 25, with as many as 10 people still missing. As for now, it is not clear who will be held responsible for this tragedy. Lockheed bribery scandal re-evoked : 30.9.2009
Berlusconi set to resign any soon? According to state attorneys if the Lodo Alfano law is deemed unconstitutional, it could cause "damage to electoral functions that would not be able to be carried out with the due commitment, it could also cause resignations and, in any way, it would cause irreparable damage”. Back in 1978 the then President of Republic Giovanni Leone was forced to resign from his position following his involvement in the Lockheed bribery scandal. Alberto Baldin's "La Scheda" - Italian Forum, the opening: 29.9.2009
Saturday, 19th of September 2009, the cultural centre, nestled inside the compound built in Leichhardt (Sydney), is officially opened.
The venue will host artistic events and will be available for other activities involving the Italian community.
"La Scheda" sketches out the troubled walk, twenty years long, that took to the accomplishment of the plan of having an Italian cultural centre.
