Interview in French: Xavier Bichon
French journalist Vincent Nouzille is an expert in French Politics and History. He speaks about his book Des Secrets Si Bien Gardés in which he investigated the White House and CIA’s secret files about France and its presidents between 1958-1981. Nouzille’s well-documented investigation is based on declassified documents, most of them written secretly by high profile politicians from the Cold War. This is a different perspective of the history of the French Fifth Republic.

Victoria Palova is a researcher with the G8 Analysts Group based in Canada.
After each summit they analyse the lists of promises and statements and then the follow up or lack of .
At the G8 Summit at L'Aquila, the official statements resembled , it appears , the statements of the previous ones .
Climatic Change , World Food Program, Security , Terrorism are some of the themes discussed .
Climatic change seemed to have been the main and certainly most "Motherhood" type of topic. Very little seems to have been achieved and according to Victoria Panova, not even enough to prepare for the Stockholm Conference, on the same topic.

Une réalisatrice Ouighour , habitant les Etats-Unis, fait un film sur les injustices, la répression, les intimidations, emprisonnements, tortures de son peuple .
Son film est intitulé : "The ten conditions of Love".
Le Directeur du Festival International du film Richard Moore le programme pour 2009.
Les émeutes éclatent et le monde entier découvre l'horreur et le supplice d'un peuple , qui ressemble d'ailleurs au supplice d'un autre peuple , écrasé, atomisé et contraint aux pires intimidations et à la colonisation de son territoire.
Les nouvelles technologies aidant , les tyrans ne peuvent plus massacrer sans témoins.
Revenons à notre film, le directeur du Festival International du Film à Melbourne: Richard Moore subit les pressions du Consulat de Chine qui exige qu'on dé-programme le film du Festival.
Fin de non recevoir de la part de Richard Moore et bravo pour son courage.
L'ironie de l'histoire est que le régime totalitaire chinois et ses tentatives de main-mise sur nos libertés , artistiques , économiques, politiques , vient de recevoir un soufflet, d'autant plus humiliant que leur démarche assure ainsi la publicité du film de Rebiya Kaader.

EU Energy Commission: 27.5.2009

Ferran Tarradelas is the spokesman for the European Union Energy Commission that was in Australia to meet with Australian Government ministers and to sign the Memorandum of Understanding under which the European Commission will become a founding member of the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute. Energy commissioner Andris Piebalgs discussed the EU response to its energy security concerns and the threat of climate change.

91 ans d'amitié et un très beau symbole cette année.
Chaque année depuis la fin de la Grande Guerre, Villers-Bretonneux, Péronne, Paeschendaele, Ypres, Fromelles, Bullecourt et de nombreux villages, commémorent le souvenir des ANZACS.
L'intérêt des générations qui ont suivi ne se dément pas.
Depuis l'année dernière, ANZAC DAY est commemoré le même jour qu'en Australie et à la même heure, à l'aube.
Villers-Bretonneux est l'hôte des cérémonies àl'aube et Bullecourt commémore l'après-midi. Quant au Maire, il assiste aux deux, et ceci après plusieurs jours d'évènements où figurent en bonne place les invités antipodéens.
Cette année un orchestre de cuivre et un choeur d'Adelaide se sont produits en concert et pour les cérémonies.
Cette année aussi, représente un moment symbolique et fort dans les relations entre les deux nations.
En 1918 , Villers-Bretonneux était en ruine. Les enfants du Victoria ont donné un penny chacun pour reconstruire l'Ecole , qui s'est alors appelée: Ecole Victoria.
Cette année , tous les habitants de la commune ont contribué un Euro chacun pour aider à la reconstruction d'une des écoles du Victoria ravagée par les incendies de février-la quadrature du cercle et une amitié qui perdure.

Dr Cameron is a specialist on Russia, in Brussels.
He was invited by the Australian Institute of International Affairs. La Trobe University Dept of International Relations and a conglomerate of 6 other participating partners in the Schools of Political Sciences.
The topic: Can the EU survive the crisis?
Yes was the answer , as was expected and a question-answer session at the end of the lecture confirmed the confidence of Dr Cameron.
The interview however is about some of the other questions raised often about the functionning and the institutions of the EU.

James tells us how this year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming. For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

Special Commemoration : 23.2.2009
CÉRÉMONIE DU SOUVENIR
LES INCENDIES DANS LE VICTORIA
Rubrique préparée par la salle de rédaction de Radio SBS.
Des milliers d'anonymes assistaient à ce servvice de Commémoration en souvenir des 209 personnes décédées dans ces incendies et de toutes les autres qui avaient perdu soit leur maison, leur cheptel , ou leur commerce et leur vie d'avant.
La Cérémonie a commencé par un hommage aux victimes, par Aunty Joy Murphy, du Conseil des Anciens.
Une délégations officielle y assistait qui comprenait : Le PM Kevin Rudd, La Princesse Royale Princess Ann, La Gouverneur Général Quentin Bryce et le chef de l'Opposition Malcolm Turnbull.
L'émotion était palpable , quand deux réfugiés, rescapés de ces incendies : David et Merelyn Carter ont chanté , ce qui est presque devenu le deuxième hymne national: "We are Australians" en adaptant les paroles à la tragédie des incendies.
Comme un fil conducteur, le message de la souffrance, du dévouement , du courage et de la volonté de reconstruire a été réitéré, par tous ceux qui ont pris la parole.
Dans la peine, les représentants de toutes les religions en Australie affirmaient par leur présence , leur appartenance au deuil national.

In this second part interview, Jean-Paul Nerriere the founder of the linguistic tool, Globish (Global English) explains the use of his method to create educational opportunities for the third world countries. According to Jean-Paul, many organisations like Melbourne –based mission One Laptop per Child has shown interest in his method: OLPC provides the Oceania's poorest children with a rugged, low-cost, connected laptop with a software designed for collaborative, and self-empowered learning and that’s where the use of Globish could come handy.
