Tony Borg talks about Strait Street: 21.11.2009
Strait Street in Malta was for many years the hub of activity for British and Amerikan navy personnel who visited the island in the post war years. Brawls, drunkenness and prostitution were part of the daily scene but deep down the location provided
much needed income for the poorer families of Valletta.
Tony Borg whose father ran one of the Strait street pubs talks about the times.
