Christophe Mallet is making a documentary on the French living in Australia.
The first part of the documentary has already been presented to the French Television group which will be financing the project:Demain TV.

91 ans d'amitié et un très beau symbole cette année.
Chaque année depuis la fin de la Grande Guerre, Villers-Bretonneux, Péronne, Paeschendaele, Ypres, Fromelles, Bullecourt et de nombreux villages, commémorent le souvenir des ANZACS.
L'intérêt des générations qui ont suivi ne se dément pas.
Depuis l'année dernière, ANZAC DAY est commemoré le même jour qu'en Australie et à la même heure, à l'aube.

Comique québécois , invité par le Festival de la Comédie à Melbourne, qui vient de se terminer, et à Sydney, qui commence.
Il se décrit lui-même comme un "Comique quadrilingue", en effet il fait rire en français, anglais, hindi et punjabi. C'est peu banal .

In Hijab and the Republic, Bronwyn Winter provides an account of the controversial 2004 French law to ban Islamic headscarves and other religious signs from public schools. Bronwyn examines with a feminist perspective the headscarf debate from its inception in 1989 through fluctuations in its intensity in public consciousness over the 1990s to its surging significance in the wake of 9/11 and the consequent shift in global politics.
Bronwyn Winter teaches in the Department of French Studies at the University of Sydney.

Entretien avec Michael Jones du consulat de France en Australie. Il est expert des centres de détentions australiens. Michael revient sur la polémique autour de ce Français d'origine laosienne âgé de 74 ans qui a succombé, le dimanche 29 août, à une hémorragie cérébrale après cinq mois d'emprisonnement à Villawood, le centre de détention de Sydney où sont incarcérés tous les émigrants en situation irrégulière. Mais les autorités ont "oublié" de prévenir le consulat de France. Marc Thao aurait demandé à etre en contact avec le consulat (cela reste une présomption). Obstacles administratifs ? problèmes de communication ? Quels sont les droits du détenu dans ces centres ? Comment remédier à de tels dysfonctionnements ? A quand le changement ? Autant de questions auxquelles Mr Jones essaient de répondre.
