RUSSIAN DEBUTANTE'S BALL: 25.8.2009
Russian debutante's ball was held on Friday, August 14th 2009 in Vaudeville
Hall in Sydney. With the first waltz the graduates of Russian School in
Homebush stepped into adult life. This annual event is now traditional,
since 1971 every winter boys and girls finished Russian School with the
Debutante's Ball. School is not only the place where they are studying
Russian language and literature, it's also the place where the first
friendships are born. School is the part of their lives, and saying good by
to the classes they are not saying good bye to the friends and Russian
Community. That's really important that the Russian language, Russian
culture is living in those kids and will be propagated to the next generations.
