Feast of Santa Marija - Warnevale Central Coast: 21.8.2009
The feast of the Assumption is celebrated in the Maltese traditional way by the Central Coast Santa Maria Committee at Mary Mackillop Church in Warnevale, with a procession of the statue, fireworks and maltese traditional food. 15th Anniversary of the TV Maltese Programme WALTZING MATILDA: 18.8.2009
The television programme Waltzing Matilda shown on Malta's main TV station every week is the link between Malta and Australia, in which Mrs. Josephine Zammit Cordina presents a picture of the Australian way of life of some of the maltese migrants. In July, this programme celebrated its 15 years of production. In this interview, Josephine talks about its inception, and her regular visits to Australia to record material for her programme.
