Casa Italia at Beijing: 28.8.2008
The Olympic Games are an opportunity to build new playgrounds, pools and arenas but also headquarters for the participating nations, called "houses". Italy House in Beijing was located inside the Hai-dian Exhibition Center, in the city's north-west. The building, built in the Italian neo-classic style, hosts a restaurant, a cafe that provides great coffee and gelato, and a real Ferrari. Italian journalists, athletes and fans mingle and celebrate victories at Casa Italia. Beijing's Italy House is the largest ever made. Stephanie Raison visited the House and met Massimo Dutto, CONI's General Manager Project Italia Team, to talk about Casa Italia's marketing strategies.
