She moved from Germany to Townsville 18 months ago, got married, applied for a job at the local firm Diva Cosmetics and since then led the business as the marketing and export manager to a success that earned her an award with the Townsville Chamber of Commerce. "LET'S TALK BUSINESS" 21: Welcome to "CeBIT 2008" : 18.2.2009
After months of preparations Australia's largest ICT fair "Hannover Fairs Australia - CeBIT" opened its doors on Tuesday May 20th at Sydney's Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre and this year some 750 exhibitors participated in the three day event presenting their wares and services to approximately 35000 visitors, a new record after six years in the business - for the first time SBS Radio's "Let's Talk Business" provided regular updates for podcasts on the CeBIT media platform (gocebit.com.au) with information about the latest developments in global ICT technology....and more....in this special and final edition of "Let's Talk Business" in the German program as a new version for the English language program "World View" is being planned.

Further Education for free at OTEN: 18.2.2009
TAFE offered their first vocational distant education course in 1889, when training in sanitary engineering was to help with outbreaks of the black plague and typhoid. Today there are hundreds of courses on offer, and what's more for many people such as jobseekers of non English speaking backgrounds and people on a parenting payment, they are fee exempt!
