2008 Italian Film Festival
The Lavazza Italian Film Festival comes back with its 9th edition, bringing to Australia a selection of the best contemporary Italian Films as well as some Italian Classics from the archives of the Cinecittà Studios in Rome.
Among the highlights there's Il Divo, by Paolo Sorrentino, a must-see film about Italian politician Giulio Andreotti, which took home the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Here's an interview by Magica Fossati with actor Toni Servillo (pictured), who also stars in The Girl by the Lake, another movie shown at the 2008 Italian Film Festival.
