Giuliana Sgrena talks to Luisa Perugini
Italian famous journalist/author Giuliana Sgrena was kdnapped in Iraq in 2005. After lenghty negotiations she was released but on the way to freedom at a US Army check-point an american soldier opened fire against the car on which she was travelling killing Nicola Calipari, the Italian secret service agent who had negotiated her realease. The controversial incident prompted the Italian Government to ask the US to formarly charge the american soldier with murder, request rejected bythe US.
Luisa Perugini talks to Giuliana Sgrena about her dramatic experience and also about her most recent book, 'The Price of the Veil" which the author launched recently in Rome.
