What Anzac Day Means To Us
Camberwell Primary School is bilingual.
The students come mostly from monolingual families, yet , after their primary schooling they are fluent in French.
The ties between France and Australia have been close since the First World War. The Western Front is of particular importance to Australian involvement . Villers-Bretonneux is where the greatest number of Australian soldiers are buried and has become a place of pilgrimage for the succeeding generations of Australians.
The wonderful students of Camberwell Bilingual School are now establishing links with the students of Ecole Victoria in Villers-Bretonneux.
