German Day Out

The Goethe Institut Australien organises the German Day Out every July. Federation Square in the heart of Melbourne did offer the ideal hub for almost two thousand students, celebrating the German language and culture. SBS was one of the presenters, hosting a quiz and a news-reading competition. The live music came straight from Germany, with DJ Roger Reckless and Nico Suave rocking the crowd.
